I'm sure everyone who has played guitar hero at some point has realized that if you watch the screen for one song and then look at the wall or your keyboard or something, everything seems to be moving.

I've played guitar hero pretty much non-stop all week. I'm sitting here at work, having not played guitar hero since last night, and everywhere I look I can still see stuff moving.

Has anyone ever experienced this with Guitar Hero? How long does it take to go away if you have? It's giving me a head ache...

You just need to take a break and do something else for a while for it to go away -- like play a real guitar! :D

I did play a real guitar for a good two hours yesterday...that didn't help.

Usually five minutes... You should probably take a break from that game for a couple days...

Yeah, heh. It happens with all games that have limited and repetitive images, I think. Especially if you play a lot. For me, it fades pretty quickly, but I don't usually play for long periods of time. You wanna cure it, take a break.

Also, if you play in a darkened room, turn the lights up. You could also try closing your eyes during pauses, or glancing away and focusing on something else. I don't know if that would work, but it sounds like it might.

The worst game I had eye-issues with was Diablo II. I had the HUD burned into my retinas constantly. It took a long time for that to pass.

Ah...well then I'd get some sleep, I guess. Look on the bright side...you're 2 hours better than you were before on a real guitar :D

Best thing. If you have a window. Look out and look at the farthest tree, or the farthest building for about 30sec. If you don't have a window, look in the room for something small (maybe the size of a 1:64 diecast car), and focus on it for 30sec. Then stretch, and that should help. Sleeping helps.

BTW, I have had this happen when playing guitar hero on PC.
