I need someone to tell me some open world rpg games, and I do mean OPEN WORLD! I have played Sacred and it's awesome so I want something similar.

Thanks :)

Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction online Battle.net.. THough its not open world it is one of the most addictive games out there imo that is amazingly fun.

There's Sacred 2...which is ok I guess. Two Worlds has a massive world and is generally fun...though it does have a lot of flaws.

Well 90% of people are going to mention Oblivion or the other Elder scrolls (lots of people aren't original around here) -oblivion has lots of combat, so try Two Worlds (I've not played it, but I believe it has plenty of combat), Sacred 2 (obvi), Gothic 2/3 (not as much hacking, but lots of open world), and it's a stretch but definitely open and sort of RPGish: GTA San Andreas. Also, try out Divine Divinity and its sequel Beyond Divinity (Diablo 2 with more RPG), Silverfall, Fable, Fate, and STALKER. Hope that helps!

EDIT: Titan Quest is a great choice, especially if you enjoyed Sacred.

Yeah Titan Quest is the best arpg that's not Diablo, but it has a linear world. I still think it's worth a go though :P

It really is terrific. The full physics, the absolutely incredible locales, and the great hacking and slashing. It's long enough and varied enough to give you plenty of entertainment value.

I've heard good things about the original Sacred. It looks to have an open world and be a decent Diablo clone.

Mount and Blade is all you need.

It's not for everyone though. But for those who see the amazing potential behind the game, there's no turning back.

Yup...I actually starting playing again last night. The online had more people than I have seen in a REALLY long time. There was at least 3-4 full pages of games going. I will be playing tonight too...just trying to figure out what class to take with Defense :P Right now leaning toward hunting and nature.

Hunting - Spear Shield Warden is a pretty good build if you haven't tried one yet. :)

I agree with everybody who recommended Titan Quest. I typically don't like hack and slash games at all (couldn't stand either Diablo) but I found Titan Quest oddly fun. It was probably the setting that did it for me.

Oblivion, obviously. The guy isn't looking for originality, he's looking for the best open world RPG game.

Yeah that's probably what I'll end up taking but having some wolf companions is tempting :P I do know with that build damage can become an issue later on in legendary especially against AoE bosses. But that's the beauty of TQ...the classes and number of viable builds in that game is really second to none.
