I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good hack n' slash games that you can play online/multiplayer, i don't care if you have to buy them or if they are free (please don't post diablo 1 or 2, because this is why i am asking due to the fact that me and my friend enjoyed it so much)

Dungeon Runners is fun with people, a lot of good loot and the game is free (well, it was 2 years ago). But to use premium items you'll have to subscribe for; I think; $5.00 monthly. Dungeon Siege 2 two was also fun - the SP anyways. But I could imagine the MP being equally entertaining too.

also dungeon runners is going to be shutdown on the first of january so I would not start playing that :(

Titan Quest is your best option. You could try Sacred 2 (I think they shut down online for Sacred 1). Unfortunately, Torchlight is single player only, or I'd highly recommend that.

Sacred 1 doesn't depend on the developer or w/e, servers are hosted by players and there are a few servers. Sacred 2 is great if you don't mind a few performance problems here and there and the camera, which is better after you get used to it, it's certainly more complex and fun than Sacred 1 but I don't know if I can say better. Sacred 1 has the same feeling Diablo gave me, it makes you want to kill more monsters and get better gear, something that Titan Quest didn't for me which is why I consider it a bad, boring game.
