Just installed steam again and DL'd HL2. Everything works Ingram except Flashlight. Binding is set and my AUX power goes down in game but no beam. I recently updated to latest Nvidia drivers so it might be that, although my card is quite old. Specs: Core 2 Duo 6300 1.86GHz GTX 7900 1gig ram Anyone had this problem before?
Weird thing isi t illuminates certain objects like crashed down bits of tunnel but still doesn't light up most things and there is no beam. Have settings on high
Well you could try being a badass and playing without the flashlight.
Anyways if you REALLY don't want to (wuss), then try the classic HL2 fix: Disable Steam Cloud, delete your HL2 folder, verify the game's cache, add autoconfig to the game's options (once, then run the game.
