Half life blue shift glitch

I can't advance from captive freight in blue shift steam version. After I rescued the scientist in the container. The large door with marines behind it didn't open when I went outside. What can I do?

How many have you rescued so far? There are three of them.

For the first one... there's a small room just next to the container which was locked. Once you rescue the scientist, try going through that door. Or is that the door you're talking about that won't open? :?

Well if its a bug, you could just reload from a previous save and try again.
