All 3 are the kings of old school PC FPS. So I ask you, which is the best?

Half-Life is the only one that I've played, but I really need to try out System Shock 2 sometime. If it was available on GOG I would pick it up in a heartbeat.
Half-Life is the only true FPS. The others would be considered hybrids.
My ranking for my favorite out of the three would be.
1. Deus Ex
2. System Shock 2
3. Half-Life

Agreed. System Shock 2 had a better upgrade system, but Deus Ex had a much more in depth story tree. Half life was good, and did give us TF2, but it just didn't have the single player replay value as the other two.

The original half life did eventually give us TF2, but it originally gave us (the original) TF and CS. But like you said the single player game is far better in SS2 and DE than HL.I've never played either system shock, so I'll have to go for Deus Ex, although Half Life is a classic.
