Half-Life DDeathmatch 1 or 2?

From what I've seen on Random Encounter, both look really fun, and they happen to be dirt cheap this weeekend. Which one should I get?

Play TF2 ( or even TFC ) instead. If you have to get one and I doubt youll play much of either if you do, then go with HLDM as HL2DM was all about throwing toilets at each other with the grav gun and it gets boring quite fast.

I could never get into TF2. Are they both a lot like that?

I play both! they are great games i can play for hours on end!

it is a very fun game although its not like something you would play every day
