There has been no announcement that i know of so no one can tell you when to expect Ep3.. we can only assume.

October 2008 or if it misses that date then October 2009, hoping it doesn't though cause i reckon they'll package Left 4 Dead with it if it's released in 2008.Grantelicious

but then we'd lose out on the awesome packaging deal! if it comes to it, i'd download it via steam too, but i'm hoping for an awesome package deal. episode 3 and day of defeat: source and garry's mod and left for dead would be nice~! i.e., the ones i don't have - hehe.

I personally think Valve used Portal as a training game for that weapon to be in Episode three but thats a long shot.

that would suck~! except i guess if left for dead and episode 3 are both sold for $30 each, and the whole package is $50, cuz i want them both (pending reviews for left for dead). that'd be a whopping savings of $10!!! i guess another one of my friends will be the beneficiary of my generosity, in that case. stinking cheap friends~!!!

but of course, if portal 2 is included, then it'd be an awesome deal. actually, episode 3, left for dead, and portal 2 would be great! i'd buy that in a heartbeat. the portal gun in episode 3 is also something i'm hoping for, but i think it'll be better realized in half-life 3, if that ever comes out. more time to think about how to use the portal gun effectively would make a huge difference, i think, cuz the inclusion of the portal gun will make game balance really tough.
