Halo 2: Prophet of Regret

While not the greatest new game on the block it is quite an enjoyable shooter. However, I appear to have reached a deadlock position and cannot work out how to kill the prophet of Regret. Can anyone offer me some advice. I am using a sword on the enemy.

Can no one help me. I must have tried 40 times to kill this chap without any success. Has anyone succeeded on the PC?

I have tried with grenades and sword and fists. I can never seem to get purchase on the throne. :evil:

Mounting the throne is no different than stealing a ghost or other vehicle from an enemy. It's easy. You just wait for them to get close enough and the aimer changes color. Then you push the button and BAM you're on. Once you are on the prophet you just keep beating on him and he dies. You only need to hop on like once or twice to take him down.
