I can see us PC gamers having to wait a couple of years for the game to receive a poor PC port, like the other two games. (Well, I've heard Halo 2's port isn't exactly an excellent port). Though Halo isn't really of major interest to many PC gamers, I would think.Doom_HellKnight
I heard the opposite. I am actually getting it just to check out Live for Windows.

http://www.gamingtrend.com/Reviews/review/review.php?ReviewID=828 The review is not bad. I am only getting it to try out Live though. I am sure it will be really good.
It will be on the PC, but definitely not a year after the 360 release. More like 2-3 years...monco59
I wouldnt go that far, Halo 2 was obviously held back on purpose, Halo 3 has no reason to, and will boost M$'s Windows LIVE campaign, market domination is thier game afterall :P
i could see halo 3 being a close release to the xbox 360, with windows live and all, i could really see them making halo3 a close release.

What about Halo:CE then? The reason PC gamers need to wait so long is because MS wants Halo to sell 360s. After that's been exhasuted, you get a PC release. That means a 2 year wait, minimum!

Once Microsoft has milked Halo3 for all it's worth on the 360, it'll make its way to PC....
Though, Microsoft did market Vista and the Halo franchise very poorly for PC.
IMO, Microsoft should have released Halo 2 atleast a full year before Vista was released, making Halo 2 DX9. Let PC players pick up copies of Halo 2 so they can brush up on the storyline....
Then, tell everyone that once Vista goes out, Halo 3 will be available on PC DX10 only (Vista's selling point to gamers) and also release Halo 3 on the 360 at the same time. Now, all of a sudden Microsoft would not only have massive amounts of people picking up Halo 3 on the 360, but then they'd have a great deal of people picking Halo 3 on PC+ along with Vista = Mad Cash for Microsoft! Not only would Microsoft be pulling in the cash, they could release the Windows Live (or whatever it is called) and show off it's abilities for PC people - Microsoft could have made even more cash on the Gold accounts....Microsoft rushed Vista and they marketed it incorrectly (along with the Halo franchise).
Instead of taking more time to polish Vista, they pushed it out the door - basically making any Microsoft customers feel like they just got slapped in the face and then kicked off a ledge when they tried upgrading to Vista from XP.
Also, if Microsoft held off on Vista for longer, Nvidia and ATI could have had more time to get out their DX10 based video cards and other game makers would have had more time to complete their games and ship them out for Vista/DX10.
I hope Microsoft learns from this and actually hires someone that can market their products better in the future.
The game came to the 360 in like 07 and its now 10 I thought it would be out by now. But sadly no its not and I am starting to think it never will. :(
