Halo error need help!

    Loaded the game on the pc and it wont work. Keep getting : A problem has orrured intailizing direct3d. Hardware acceleration may be disabled, please run DXDIAG.

 i have the most recent drivers i have tried everything and it still will not work for me this happens when i load the game up. could someone plz help me! thxs 

I will first make two assumptions: you have some crappy out of the box stock computer and cannot hope to run Halo 2. And you did not buy halo 2 for xbox cuz u are too young to afford one.

 Now my conclusion to the problem. DONT PLAY HALO! There a bagillion times better games out there for the pc.
