How many people out their are really interested in halo 2 on the pc (finally).

I wouldn't be interested in it. Even if I was running Vista and they were only charging $5 for it I still wouldn't buy it. I have Pc shooters that are far better than the Halo series. It was fun playing co-op on XBox but when I'm PC gaming I'm looking for a different experience.
This is a noob question, but does anyone know if it is going to cost to play online on Halo 2?Blaster2k7if you already have xbox live you can use that account its basically the same thing as xbox live but on a computer and the nice thing is there making it so 360 players can play pc players
This is a noob question, but does anyone know if it is going to cost to play online on Halo 2?Blaster2k7No, it does not. The only game which you have to pay to play online coming up is Shadowrun, and that is only for cross-platform (Xbox 360 vs PC, and we will own :D)
To tell you the truth. I love Halo, I played it on Xbox (without Xbox Live) and I'll buy it when it comes to PC so I can play online. Prolly won't get it awhile until I get Vista though
I won't be buying it for a while for the simple fact that I have to have Vista in order to play it.slateman_basic
No, thank you.....I played it too manytimes on the original Xbox and XLive, I dont care about anymore.
And I have WinVista, yeah, baby!....Is that good or bad?!
Vista exclusive = I won't play it, because I have no interest in "upgrading" to vista anytime soon. Maybe in a few months time for more exciting games like Shadowrun.

PC players and Xbox players cannot play against each other in Halo 2.Â
I'm fan of FPS games and Halo has it's own unique style. I find it fun.Â
I have a feeling that most of my PC teammates are refusing the Halo mostly because it requires you to have Vista. And, it that matter I agree with them completely. However, unless you totally hate the "game" itself, I truly believe that it's quite fun to play it. It's a First Person Shooter, and not a bad one.Â
I had a chance to play first Halo on Xbox, and later on PC. Halo 2 as well. And, I'll be looking forward to it's PC title in future, when Vista stabilizes properly and it's optimized for games as Windows Xp is. Until then, unfortunately Halo 2 is not my choice.Â
I do believe that it still is a good shooter, it's just sad that Microsoft took it's course with it to make more profit.Â
HEY EVERYONE
I got a question...how many of you would buy Halo 2 if it was Windows XP compatable?
I hate to say it, but I think I would.
Not interested. First of all it requires Vista, which I don't have, and I'm not planning to get it until I have a DX10 card, which won't be for a while. Secondly, I didn't like the first Halo so I won't waste my time in a sequel, I forced myself to play the 1st one for about 5 hours and then couldn't go on, both the weapons and enemies were badly done IMO. Thirdly, sounds to me like it's more about the mp, and I'm not a huge fan of mp shooters. Fourthly, MS is a bastard for making it require Vista, especially when it doesn't utilize either DX10 nor the xbox vs pc online, and I will boycott it for that reason.
