Hard disk for gaming?

Hi, i am going to buy a new Sata 2 hard disk and i wanted to know if you can let me know some disks good for gaming or what i need to look on in a hard disk for best gaming performance.

Any 7200RPM harddrive will work. But you can also get the Raptor which is 10000RPM but smaller in terms of storage space and much more expensive.

At least 160GB, 7200RPM, preferably with a 16MB cache if at all possible. If money isn't a problem, the 10kRPM drives are a fair bit quicker than 7200RPM drives, but not enough to make it worthwhile for most people, since it mostly affects loading times, and with a good drive, even that isn't much.

Faster hard drives wear out sooner. Raptors make noise, heat and are just not worth it, IMHO. I think a 160GB HDD will be fine, 250GB if you want to dual boot.

Either one should be fine if you want a SATA 3.0Gb/s.
