AusLogics Disk Defrag. But, why not just use the windows defragger?

Oh, I wouldn't know. :P

Anyway, the program I recommended works good. It's a lot faster than window's, at least in XP.

That one isn't so good...

It might be faster but not better,

O&O and Diskeeper I have found to be better. There's free version of both I think, with limited options ofcourse.

Most defintely O&O 10. For one it has options to completely defrag your HDD unlike AusLogics and Diskeeper which arrange files though the most frequent use(which is why you can defrag a 1TB HDD in less than 15 minutes).

Perfect Disk is one of the better ones taking over the top spot from Disk Keeper http://www.download.com/PerfectDisk/3000-2094_4-10349543.html?tag=lst-1

There's also a neat startup defragger I run http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897426.aspx that takes care of registry files and page files. Plus it's free ;)

If you using Vista installing a 3rd party defrag program is a waste of time. The Xp derag program is really bad though. You can get diskkeeper but i think it cost money.

At least for me Vista's is decent (better than XP anyway), but O&O defrag would be the best solution. I have 3x400gb WD HDD's and with Vista's defrag it takes around 14 hours, with O&O arround 12:40 so not much faster but it is a little. I don't know about the quallity of the defrags comparing them, but i do know that O&O is very good;).

There is nothing wrong with it and in many ways it is better than XP.

Vista' defrag utlility is known to be somehow better than XP's one but i still like to use O&O anyway.
