Metro 2033, Crysis, GTA IV are the toughest to run games off the top of my head. I don't think any of those were released in 2010, though.

Metro 2033 probably holds that title. It's a pretty great looking game.

Microsoft FS:X still. Try to max out all the world detail and graphical settings and fly from a major metro airport. Watch your pc melt. Although some will say it's just a similator and not a game, but it does contain a game campaign.

Then why can I run Metro 2033 fine, but I don't meet the specs to run games like CODBO?

Optimization and scaling? It's not rocket science.

If I don't meet the specs and can't run it , then it's the hardest for me. Unless someone tells me that I actually can run Black Ops on my PC.

But that's off-topic and has nothing to do with what the OP asked about. Good day.

Fair enough. Guess I'm just bitter.

That's what I would think also. Does it run better on newer PC's (compared to Metro 2033)?

GTA4 just needs a quad core, or maybe even tri-core. You have no chance with a dual core. Really doesn't need a very powerful gfx card to run maxed.

Metro 2033 needs a very powerful gfx card(s), especially if you want to attempt it in dx11 at very high with 2560x1600. Think I was getting less than 1fps with an overclocked 5870.

According to the specs of your PC in your sig you only have a 8800. So you can't run Metro 2033 in DX11... so while it may run on your PC, you're hardly running it properly... :P IMHO Metro 2033 is the most graphically advanced game currently available. Some call it badly optimized, me I just say it uses a hell of a lot of features most video cards struggle with (or can't even run at all), DX11, DOF, tessellation.

Metro 2033 (Advanced DOF and Tesellation does little to nothing in the game that's noticeable and it made me lose 40+ FPS).
