Has anyone played with the new Alien vs Predator game

I'm referring to the 2010 one. Here on Gamespot it didn't make much points,it is said to be brutal but doesn't match up to it's predecessors. Is that so? What are your experiences?

Not as good as AvP2, but don't believe it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If you can find it at a discounted price, it's definitely worth a purchase. Has some scary moments.

The game is a little annoying, it had great potential but stupid consoley design just made the game annoying and ...stupid. You notice this most while playing the Predator and an example would be when you want to munch on someones head as an Alien or take a trophy as the Predator, you are forced into a animated sequence of which you cant get out of, while other npc's are stood shooting at you or biting your face off. Sure these sequences look good, but after youve seen the same 3 sequences over and over and over again it gets boring and quite frustrating after a while.

The campaigns for each character arent as long as the previous games either, but all 3 put together are probably about as long as the Alien campaign from AVP2, maybe a bit more. Storylines for each campaign suck, the Alien storyline was probably the best of the three, and it wasnt great. Multiplayer was less than stellar and is probably dead now(?). The graphics are quite good though...

Solid game. The two monster campaigns are awesome, the marine one is sort of meh. The gore is amazing:lol:

It's a pretty sick game if you can find it for a low price, i wouldn't spend more then $10 on it but still.

Ive only beat the marine campagne, I keep meaning to go back and play the rest. It wasnt all that good except for a few parts, I kinda had to force my self to beat it.
