Has Bethesda's reputation taken a hit with (racist) Rogue Warrior?

Ugh, after reading the reviews, I wonder what hand Bethesda had in developing this piece of garbage. Apparently aside from the extreme vulgar profanity (which is every other word), there is also racist jokes.

What hit, if any, did Bethesda's reputation take by publishing this game and guiding its development? I love Bethesda, and can't believe they published this. :(

Apparently they had a hand in its development. They fired the original developer and hired these guys. Ugh, I can't believe they chose someone who would put out this kind of game. I cannot believe they allowed it to hit shelves. :(

Bethesda's in-house game always have questionable humour anyway.

"shrugs" kinda fed up with all the overly political correctness we are exposed to. I do think it is a horrible game by gameplay mechanics tho... And I would be shocked if people told me that it was NOT a budget title, if I were not aware of it before hand.

But political correctness? I am so fed up with every single minority screaming bloody murder every time someone from thier minority bites a bullet in any form of entertainment... no equality there... Just one sided hidden hate... fine and good that majority groups gets mauled every day in entertainment, but one of them?? noooehs -.-

Onto the game itself ^^ Yeah its pretty bad... cant say if it gets better later in... I doubt it... The real insult in this game is that the trash got published :s

Is there any word of what the statements actually are in the game? I doubt they used the N word or anything of that nature, as that'd never fly. I bet it's more subtle than you think.

No, the hit came from this game being utter garbage, anything racist had nothing to do with a hit to their reputation, just bad gaming.

EDIT: If they even took a hit, which is highly inplausible considering it was not an in-house development.

There are racist jokes all over tv shows and movies, who cares if games do it too. Honestly it's the least of that games worries.

Who cares, they wasted their time and money making garbage and they will take a financial hit for it; it's just like any other industry.

Honestly if the game is so bad, people won't buy it. That is how you punish anyone who makes a product you are complaining about.

Regarding the racist stuff, do we actual know what is said in the game? I highly doubt its anything close to what you find in Grand Theft Auto games, yet rarely do people whine and complain about that game, because its actually a good game.

Obama and his grandmother had a very fantastic relationship. She took care of him when he was a child, and I don't know where you found that quote.

Regardless, who cares if a game has some racist jokes? I love a good racist joke or two, even if their about my own race.
