This is the last I've heard of it. For some reason all the articles focus on less power consumption and longer battery life for handheld devices and tablets. Nothing on Desktop performance. http://www.extremetech.com/computing/156739-intel-haswell-will-draw-50-less-power-than-ivy-bridge

According to some leaked benchmarks the 4770k is about 5-10% faster than the 3770k and wait for it....in certain benchmarks it actually performed worse. The integrated gpu performed significantly better though. Keep in mind that these early benchmarks may not necessarily be true. They also said that intel pulled the same crappy tim stunt again.

Well...they are already sitting in the warehouse of some retail stores just waiting to be placed on shelves. Motherboards as well. We can all hope this Sunday is the big unveiling of it all!

As for the chinese benchmarks, I'm hoping those are false. Haswell doesn't seem to be too big of a deal though, well depending on how well it can OC. There is an article online of someone getting to 5 GHZ on .9 volts, that's nuts. As well as some claims of 8 GHZ clocks.
