Cliffy B. couldn't care less about PC gaming and he's said it over and over and over. This is just another of his off-handed slaps at PC gaming and, yes, it is a slap. PC gamers are grumpy? Grumpy? Grumpy, like old men (i.e. outdated and behind the times)? He knew exactly what the inferences would be when choosing that word. Don't kid yourself. He's pandering to his cult of Console Kiddies.

I will never buy any game he's associated with and, after playing GoW and UT3, I don't consider it that great of a loss. Epic Games can rot for all I care.

i think cliff is just trolling. but seriously, Microsoft is trying to save/justify the xbox, yes i said save, halo was good but halo 2 on pc seemed out of date, it could work on XP but they made it Vista only, then gears of war was great but they refused to fix the glitches in the game and decided to to stick to the 360 with gears 2 and the rest of the halo series, a punk move if you ask me, Vista was crap, now they are on windows 7 where is the games for windows support, now GFW live is GFW marketplace sounds like they are trying to compete with steam. If Cliff, and i respect him as a developer and his talent, thinks he is better than Crytek on producing games that tax the latest hardware,then step to the plate on PC man, don't tweet and yap.

Using stereotypes like video games are for children must be the highlight of your day considering this thread is about the least kid oriented game there is.

Cliff Bleszinski has always rubbed me the wrong way. There's something about the way that guy looks and acts that I just can't stand. I think "cocky and arrogant" - terms used in this thread - are definitely accurate ones to describe his personality. I loved his work on Jazz Jackrabbit and even admire the Unreal Tournament series (all except the third), but he's turned into just another console fan who blatantly sides with console games and has abandoned the PC user-base almost entirely. On the bright side, we're still getting the great games he's helping create. On the flipside, we still have to put up with and listen to the man behind these products.

There were only a few of us there so we all had some time with him and the dude that plays Dom's character. I ended up getting a ton of autograhps from the crew. In all, Cliffy is a real funny guy - not to mention he was really down to earth.
