Pretty nasty stuff, but the odd part is on the outside of the keyboard it looks extremely clean and polished. It's a dell multimedia keyboard, the keys are very close together so you can't see the underside without taking a button out like the spacebar.

Yeah I have all that stuff under mine too and what is that Eraser stuff i have that under my Mouse as well :P ITS EVERYWHERE!
Mine is pretty clean right now but that's only because it is only a couple of weeks old. I had to clean out my old keyboards every 3 months or so or they just got nasty. :)
I used these really old Sun work stations running unix, god. I look under the keys in there, I swear whole fingernails and just stuff that had grown over the years. yum
I bought my keyboard 1.5 years ago and is very clean . It looks like new. My other keyboard that I had for 5 years is messy , you can't push a button because there is something inside it that it makes a crack noise everytime I press a button.

Yeah didnt you know? Zombies sneak into your house at night and use a cheese grater to put bits of their skin in a keyboard. Scary stuff. This is what horror movies are made of. I should be a writer.

Human skin regenerates continuously starting from the inner layers towards the surface. The outer layer consists out of dead skin cells steadily shedding off. So the keyboard and mouse surface gets covered by dead cells (and hair and other body excretions) while we sit at our PC.
Run your thumb hard against your wrist and you'll see what I am talking about.

well i know my keyboard on my desktop is 8 years old and i even have blood under my keys(not getting into details) along with dead skin. my laptop on the other hand is spotless cause i clean it every couple months and its always with me so it kind of is a representation of how clean i keep myself lol.
