i just reinstalled windows with my new ram, and everything is fine. i have the latest vid card driver, the latest direct x and runtime, sound drivers, windows updates, mobo drivers, everything. but whenever i launch a game, it launches but when i join a server it always stops and never loads at a certain point, and on another game it always crashes when trying to load a map. ive tried reinstalling the games too, not sure what to do, please help!

No idea, does the single player work? If no games work try without the new ram.

See if your firewall is blocking it. Also, did you install your LAN drivers for your motherboard?

does it give you any error message. Check the event viewer and look in the application log and see what it says. Its in control panel\administrative tools\Event Viewer

Perhaps if you would name the games?

To check the event viewer in Windows XP do the following:

Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer

An error that occurs within the game will be listed under either Application, or System.

Good luck!
