i have the 1st official review of the hd 7950ghz edition (or rather its a partial review to wet your lips). priced at the same tag as the gtx 670 the hd 7950ghz edition ranges from equal to a frame or two better than the hd 7970 standard edition which is pretty impressive. by the looks of things what will happen is that the ghz edition will replace the 7970 and the 7970 will then get a drastic price cut

interesting plan

IE9 really isn't all that bad. Leaps and bounds ahead of what 7 and 8 were.

Yeah, but with Chrome, Firefox and Opera around it makes it kinda pointless.

IE is still necessary. For instance I have to use the web app for my vmware server at home through ie9, doesnt work with firefox/chrome/opera

there are a lot of things that only work in IE

I used IE9 for a few months straight and then switched back to Chrome a week ago (I switch browsers often, the only way to know which is best is to try them all.) I would have to say browsing experience has not changed in the slightest. Page loading times are not noticeably faster, there are no features in Chrome that prefer over IE9, and IE9 hands down has the best GPU acceleration. One could easily argue your same point the other way around. Once upon a time other browsers were leaps and bounds ahead of IE. Such is not the case these days.

By the way, i have Sapphire Hd7950 3gb, the referance version card with a crappy fan for cooling..

Even on such pooer cooling i overclocked my GPU core from 800Mhz to 1150 Mhz.. Ive seen people achieve upto 1200 or even more... But becoz of my temperatures, this is what i found most stable for my GPU..

I'd be more excited about the drastic pay cut for the 7970. Interesting stuff.
