Does this mean the ATI card is better? It had GDDR4 & a lot morestream processing units. Thanks in advance!!!

8800GT. Even though on paper the 3870 might look better it's chip isn't as good as the 8800GT.

However, if you were to crossfire vs SLI then the 3870 would win. But that's more down to crossfire than SLI. Basicaly if you're only planning on one card, go for the 8800GT. Plan on getting two, then get a 3870.
