[QUOTE="swehunt"] The first benches have arrived, they show the new ATI is very stong in AA/AF, ATI has fixed the problem of RV6X0 series in their new GPU.
pardon me my for this french post ;)
French bench:
In most games The HD4850 figth the 9800GTX and pulls ahead of the Nvidia competition.
Edit: oops posted the wrong benchmark... now it's the correct one..
Hd4850 even overtake the GTX260 in RACEdrive GRID with both AA and AF enabled and without anything.

were you looking at the same benchmarks? ... I guess on a few the ATI card looked good ... on the bioshock one with no AA/AF but it didn't even register with it (it's in french so we don't know why) ... but anyways the card looks like it will be somewhere around a 8800GTX ish range if you compare it to how the 3870 performed being better but not as high as the nvidia cards
which is still very good if they are going to come in at a low price point considering all of those nvidia cards on the list are still very expensive.
Well I guess you didn't read the link I provided for you then...
This MIDRANGE card does beat the erlier elite of nvidia in this test, (8800Ultra and 9800GTX) thats awsome for a singlecard in the midrange **** But I cant tell for sure by just this erly review, Before I spread the word I want more benchmarks.
This card does beat the 9800GTX in the most gamebenchmarks and in one game even the GTX260.
this is where the HD4850 pulls ahead of the GTX260, And it does almoust the same FPS with 4*AA as the 9800GTX does without AA at all.
