hdmi 360 picture problems

Hey guys having problems with my 360 with hdmi. i have a olevia 32 inch tv i have it set on 1080p not sure if thats ok. but anyhow the shadows are so dark i cant see i dont understand. but everything else is fine. im not tech savvy so i have no idea what im doing any suggestions

Ghost_On_Crack

The thing you might want to check is your Reference Levels, because it seems like you may be getting crushed blacks. To check this, go to Console Settings, select Display and choose Reference Levels. If it is set to Expanded, change it to Standard. If it is set to Standard, change it to Expanded. Do not use Intermediate. See if that helps fix the problem.
