Say if a cable is listed as being 6 feet long. Does that mean just the cord is 6 feet long, and that doesn't include the two HDMI connectors? So in reality, the entire HDMI cable is at least around 6 feet two inches?

Cables always seem to be shorter than stated. If you're worried that the cable won't quite reach get the longer length up.

yes, that's always something I've learned when buying A/V cables. Also never buy monster cables :)

Second that, buy a $15 cable and then chuckle when people buy that Monster rubbish. All cables are made in China for $1 anyway.

Standards to live by: Coaxial cables: buy nice ones due to analog signal interference |||| Digital cables(HDMI):all read 0s and 1s the same way so just buy whatever is cheapest....

^but still able to get interference. Make sure you buy ones that are up to date (HDMI 1.4 or 1.4a) and have ferrite cores on them.
