Alright here's the deal.

I've got a 360, and will be buying a PS3 within the next week. I've also ordered a new TV/Monitor that has VGA and HDMi inputs. I've been using my old monitor for my 360 using the Microsoft VGA cables. Now the PS3 has HDMi right? So I was wondering how it would work if I plug both my 360 VGA cable into the TV/Monitor and my PS3's HDMi cable in too.(Note: I'm no tech guiness, I'm just assuming VGA and HDMi have different plug ins). Would the monitor react to the first one turned on? Any solutions to this.

I would just get sick of attaching the cables, the unattaching, then attaching them again and so on.

Depending on the monitor it should have a button to switch the source.

Most HDTV remotes have a button labeled "Source"...that allows you to switch from HDMI plugs to component to PC (VGA) etc..
