I am currently in the market for a new HDTV. I currently own a 61" Samsung DLP 1080p and a 46" Mitsubishi LCD 1080p TV. I am trying to replace the 46" LCD, because the power supply sounds like a cricket chirping (When screen goes from dark to light or vice-versa it is extremely noticable). Here are the choices I've been able to narrow down to:

Pioneer PDP-5010FD (Pioneer 50" 1080p Plasma)

Sony KDL52XBR4 (Sony 52" 1080p LCD w/ 120 Hz)

Samsung LN-T5281F (Samsung 52" 1080p LCD w/ LED)

If anyone one owns one or more of the following TVs, can you tell me what if any issues you've had with them, and if able to do a comparison, which one did you feel had the better overall performance. I've looked at reviews and customer ratings on many sites and I can't get a good feel on how they stack up against one another. The price isn't too much of a concern, I'm more interested in the picture quality. It will be mainly used for Gaming and HD Movies. I have a PS3, Xbox 360 Elite, Wii, and an HD-A20 HDDVD player. So if you notice anything game related...lag, blurring please indicate that also.

If you can afford it, I would go with the Pioneer. Damn, thats a bada$$ TV. The picture quality and black levels are to die for.

I have been leaning towards the Pioneer. The only thing that worries me is Image Retention, I've seen a few solutions regarding running a Break-In DVD upwards of 100 hours before using with a game console or anything that doesn't completely fill the screen. That just seems a little extreme. Any Pio owners with burn-in issues?
