Hi Everyone...

I'm thinking of buying a HDTV (Samsung LN40A650) that offers 120 Hz / Auto motion plus...

I will be using it as my PC-gaming monitor and be using it with computer most of the time

I've got two question...

1: Does PC-gaming/PC-movie benefits from 120Hz

2: Does PC-gaming/PC-movie benefits from Auto motion plus

Thank you everyone!!!!

Gaming benefits from 120hz no doubt. Less lag. But Automotion Plus I don't know about. I think it does though. Remember to turn off all of the automotion plus, and if you can, turn off 120hz as well, if you're going to watch a movie. Movies have that special trademark low-frame-rate, so I think it's best if you watch it "naturally."

I've read that article though... I still find myself lost in the 120Hz+Automotion plus world...

Since i'll be doing everything on PC...

I want the Auto motion plus / 120Hz to be compatible with PC...

Thank you for your help though!!!

hey dude i hope this helps auto motion 120hz wen watching a movie turn it off and in your ps3 settings turn on 24hz blu-ray playback

and wen u play games def turn auto motion back on high

what i do is i watch blu-ray movies and tv selected on the standered video out put i just change the settings like go to the deatil settings and put contrast on high and black levels to and put energy saver on medium like put back light on 0 and contrast on 70 bright on 50 color on 55 sharp 80 and wen i play games i put it on dynamic contasr 80 back light 1 color 55 and bright 50 sharp 80 the cool thing u dont have to switch the auto motion off wen u have it on standered picture even if u have it on dynamic cuz it keeps it 2 speerat things
