Do u prefer playing games with headset or speaker?

I'm confused to decide which one to buy.Does headset give bass quality as good as my 2.1 speaker. And howabout the price?

Headset. I got a chance to use a BOSE headset and man, those things are amazing. In CS:S, you can hear people from about 30m away. Although, you need a decent audio card too (integrated or w/e).

anyway, for scary games i use the speakers. For online and what not i use my headset they give you a edge with online play

I haven't used speakers in many many years. With headsets I can hear everything and I can turn the volume up all I want without annoying the neighbors.

If youre going to get one or the other, the headset without doubt is the first choice. Its preferable for competitive gaming, since it blocks outside noise. Also, its very useful(almost necesary, in fact) if you like to play games or do other noise-making things late at night, and you have light sleepers in the house. A good headset gets good bass and sound quality, certainly more than enough for any gaming.

On the other hand, if you like to listen to music or watch stuff on your pc, you'll want at least 2.1 speakers, preferably 4.1 or 5.1.

A sound card is a good thing (i assume, never had one) but these days most higher end motherboards come with a decent integrated one, so its not necesary (unless you absolutely must have the best sound quality).
