Check your inboxes people! The first invites are going out for Hearthstone, Blizzard's Warcraft-themed card game. Right now it is America region only and most of the invites seem to have gone to fansites and popular gaming sites (Gamespot probably got a few). No invite for me yet.

I would play it, however, I already play the actually card game during my spare time while not gaming, school, band, homework, and gaming. But it seems like a thrill to play!

Yeah, I used to play Magic in high school, but getting new cards was too expensive for my tastes when I could buy a game for the same money that would last several weeks or even months. Hearthstone being free to play sounds like it will be reasonable. You will be able to get at least one card pack (5 random cards) per week, maybe even more depending on how much gold you can get per day. I also play Scrolls because it only has a one time cost. Then you can get new card packs through play just like Hearthstone.
