[QUOTE="PS3_3DO"]The demoman is making me hate this game. :x
comstrikeiscool
Why's that?
demoman is awesome. and i didnt necessarily mean which is most useful or can win a game i meant just destructive. heavy medic can take out a whole group in seconds and its hilarious when you come around a corner and watch them flee for their lives lol
yeah, Medic/Pyro is alot more effective than Medic/Heavy. People just run away as soon as they see it coming, and the heavy's way too slow and innacurate at range.Mediocre_man90
and pyro doesnt even have range

That's why they run away, thus letting your team cap.
I wouldn't say Medic/Heavy is THE most demolising force. In certain areas of certain maps, perhaps they are good.
Medic/Pyro in some heavily populated areas, where scattering is helpful is brilliant. Medic/Demo in turreted bottlenecks is brilliant. It all depends on the circumstances.
I've blown a medic away from his heavy with demoman sticky bombs as they've made the big push towards the final cap in dustbowl etc, and I'm sure many other have too. The combination is powerful to be sure, but the pure simple brilliance of TF2 is the balance and the counters that each class brings to the playing field. If what you are doing doesn't work against them, try something else.

I'm forever surprised how few people use the demo sticky trick against Ubers. Seriously, just lay 3-4 stickies on the floor in the path of an uber, and blow them when they're in between the medic and their helper. Basically, the medic gets blown back, the helper blown forward, and the distance kills the uber.
It's easy to set up during parts of the match where you expect an Uber rush (start of the map, last cap point, ...)
But this just adds to my belief that the Demoman is a bit overpowered/useful now, compared to Soldiers...
I sometimes emply a strategy that is good against some people:
If a Pyro/medic with uber is coming, Ill try to force them to uber. if they activate, Ill try to atract them so the uber is wasted. Has worked a few times perfectly(of course, it ultimately leads me to my death, but anything for the well being of the team).
On topic: I too think that Pyro/Medic is more destructive than the Heavy/Medic. I mainly play 2fort, where the P/M is more dangerous than H/M.
But, THE most dangerous is Medic/Medic with ubersaws. If it works well, the ubering could last forever. I know this from experience.
Heavy medic is better.fatshodan
Pretty much. Pyros just don't have the range and there speed doesn't make up for it. Plus you have to worry about other pyros with compression even though most use the backburner. If this happens the pyro is screwed. However you can go to a good demoman anytime and he will deal with whatever that needs to be done.

heavy/medic is best for taking down a group of enemies; pyro/medic is probably second best for that purpose.
demo/medic is best for taking down sentries;pyro/medic is probably second best (with heavy/medic a close third).
imo, of course.

they run from both, heavy is really effective at close range too and can at least attack at long range whether its innacurate or not. theyre about equal except for speed
