i've checked the recommended requirements:

System RAM:3Gb RAM????????????

Operating System: Windows Vista????

Video Card: 768Mb 3D 100% Direct X 9.0c compatible video card with shader model 4.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 8800+/ ATI Radeon 2900+) ?????????

i mean the graphics in Hellgate London aren't better than UT3or Clive Barker's Jericho

even Crysis doesn't demand that much

so you cant play it without vista??? weeeeak, i was thinking about trying this game with my new pc, but i decided to stay with XP as i enjoy it more then vista.kozzy1234

yep on minimum requirements it says - Operating System: Windows XP/Vista

heh i guess you can try the demo or just buy the game now

The game runs fine on an XP system with only 2GB of RAM. I had had more problems with it on Vista than I did on XP due to the ammount of RAM Vista used.thanatose

runs fine with 2Gb is good i guess but with which video card? and runs fine you mean high graphics or lower?

I was running it with a single 8800GTX on max settings with no issues in XP. It does however run into problems with crashing due to a lack of memory with only 2GB in Vista.

oh ok, so i guess 2Gb will do the work on XP - heh that's kinda normal for today gaming - but still to own latest vid card for graphics that aren't what so eva - a bit wierd if you'd ask me

Hellgate London isn't the great game people hyped it to be. I got to the forth chapter and pretty much gave up on it as I got bored.

Good Points:

The intro is good!

Dungeons are randomised.

Graphics are good.

Sound is quite good.

Voice acting isn't terrible.

Bad Points;

Repetitive dungeons.

Shooting weapons lack power.

Bugs such as the out of memory problem when you use your inventory a lot aka if you're a looter like me.

That pretty much sums it up nicely. The game starts of good but it gets boring after a while. That's the reason I play it in small doses now.

He asked if it was only playable on Vista. Windows XP is not the same as vista.

For the love of God, Don't!!!!! That was teh biggeest disappointment of 07. Going from one subway station to the next... From one tiny little dungeon area (even the outside area feel this way) to the next... Every area looking the same due to overused bland textures... The game was repetitive and boring.... And I love Diablo 2.

sorry this is not diablo2 ..diablo 2 was a revolutionizing game ..this was a flop

oh i see that this game sucks or something - i've played a bit the full game and a bit of the demo

looked pretty nice, maybe i was wrong? i guess... i need to play some more on my friends house before buying the game

The game works on xp with 1gb and radeon 9600. Nuff saidzhivago_x

works - sure, on which graphics? :P

but anyway it's not good game which you should spend your money on, IMO it's better to buy Crysis or CoD 4 or The Witcher
