That a bit expensive i remember builded my friend a core i5 2500k Oced to 4.6Ghz with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ inside a Coolermaster Scout with an ASUS P8P67 Pro for 430$CAD and according benchmark nothing amd does can compete with the famous core i5 2500K overclocked but There a hic :

all of those who build that are angry at intel cause of the announced the Sata II 3GB/S error with saying all of the P67 Motherboard are having the Error and motherboard must be recall you know that mean ? Having to wait few month for they recall the product : make it fix fast : and then overclock ur CPU AGAIN

how ever you might not be forced to reinstall window 7 as it the same motherboard and CPU ur getting in but ... nice build anyway cheap quality psu tough i heard compare to some OCZ / Corsair / Antec In sales might worth the extra buck they usally a bit more energy efficancy and are more quiet / easier cable management

how ever good stuff rosewill psu brand did improve in the past 2 year and got accepted despite it non certified SLI / Crossfire product that work fine with those setup which show proof how those Certification is BIASED sometime altough i belive it mostly all biased information :P

THAT a Good Build but i wish INTEL DIDN'T GOT A ISSUE WITH SANDYBRIDGE Chipset cause of that all cpu are on backorder on newegg.com so no one is selling P67/Core i5 2500k/ Core i7 2600k for the moment i builded a core i5 2500k and an asus P67 PRO motherboard for 330$ and it oced so well according my mate :P

the core i5 sandybridge cost a little more then Lynefiled Socket 1156 P55 with a Core i5 760 yet it close to twice better in most of benchmark if only it was not of the issue with SATA II controller way to mess up at least amd will be able to win fidelity with bulldozer because of the slack off intel got since last week :P

no it was slow around here.. you missed amd's big fail though.. their website has all the down low on their upcoming cards if you modify one or two numbers and letters on the hd 6800/6900 series specs pages.. you can get the 6670, 6570, 6770, 6750, 6450 and 6350 that way :P

heard of it was lurking around a bit anyway back to helping man i wish sandybridge didn't got a big failure time ya know newegg.com not selling any right now what people must be thinking ? waiting few week before build a Core i5 2500k ? that few thousand $ of lose of profit easy
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2011/01/03/intel-sandy-bridge-review/10

because anyone know a Core i5 2500k is outperforming a core i7 950 and it cost half of it :) because the motherboard X58 compare to a P67 :D anyway it not like amd was bad either way but we are what 4 of 5 month away of Amd Bulldozer which require an am3+ Motherboard Known as Series 9xx as they are not cross compatible with old 7XX/8XX chipset

it normal too if you expect something better and more efficient you can't use a old socket unless it a revamp of it like 22nm instead of 32mm such as ivybridge versus sandybridge in 2012 Q1/Q2 they might ask a new P67 That support the shrink and who know if it even +20% better anyway my point it up to him if he wait and see how much it would cost with a core i5 2500k and oc it to 4.5Ghz+ and get a big perforamnces

Note: By the time you're ready, there will probably be new options available, so just keep that in mind.

so true like the core i5 2500k will be back to market as there H67 (Horrible Chipset 67) / (Perfect Chipset) 67 Get Back to Sales it the fastest cpu per $$ right now and if he even wait till spring is likely to get a bulldozer which will be if the claim +50% raw power for anything include gaming then core i7 950 OCED to 4.3Ghz

it Likely gonna be a Beast i suspect there First Bulldozer to counter Easily the Core i7 2600K and will be around 250$ or 280$ and oc very well and i suspect there Chipset 9xx Around 150-200$ anyway price will drop if he wait few month so will the current cpu even if he wait 2 month so it up to him to make a new thread back there
