ATI's X1600 is "only fair" for games -- it is more or less at the very bottom of the mid-level compared to today's games. Not yet awful, certainly, but within only a very few months from now, it *will* be in the Low Level category. In the same general price range, the 7600 GS is better, and the current ATI offering that replaced the X1600 is much better (about on a par with the 7600 GS, perhaps faster in some games) -- the X1650 Pro is decent. (I'm not real good with British currency, though, or I'd say more.)

The 7600GT is better and theyre having a special so it costs only a tiny bit more than the 1650pro ;)

If youre willing to spend an extra 20quid you can get an 1950pro which will play all your games really nicely.

I wouldnt go for the 8600GT, it gets beaten in some instances by the older 7600GT :/
