I'm already using a Sony Bravia TV with not noticeable lag. I don't see any. Now i am going to upgrade but with all this input lag info i am not sure with one will be the best choice. More since i like playing fighting games. I was thinking of getting a 32 or 40 inches Sony Bravia EX500. It is 1080 and 120hz. If any of you have one is it great for gaming?

For starters don't waste more money on a Sony TV. The markup just for the Sony name is already bad enough. I would say the Panasonic S2 42inch 1080p for $499 on newegg. The Panasonic is a MUCH better TV and costs less. Its actually insulting how much Sony charges for their TVs, taking advantage of the consumer's trust from when they actually produced top of the line, quality products.

Give LG a try. I think they're the best when it comes to LCDs/LEDs. Too bad Newegg doesn't ship to you because that's a killer deal. You couldn't find better. LG has a 32" 1080p LCD for around 400ish. Seen it below that price too. Might wanna give them a look at.

I don't want horrible lag on games. My current Sony is almost lag free compared to my old sd tv. You can't notice a difference.

Supposedly. We have a 42" 1080p 120hz from LG that was released this year. I don't notice lag of any sort for PC or consoles.

I think you're talking about the LD520? Pretty sure it comes in a 32" and 37", I have it in my house and don't notice any lag or blurring. The one I got does have some bleeding though, which I'm thinking is common for LGs. And that does get annoying when playing games like Alan Wake or Metro 2033. I'm thinking about trying out that Panasonic but I don't know if I can go over to the plasma side...

Sony's LED TVs are still pretty beast though. NX series with monolith design are excellent. Granted, Panasonic has the best TV on the market now, (THP50VT25) And Samsung C9000 is the better LED, but Sony's are by no means overpriced.

I guess people are just disappointed in them, back in the CRT days, Sony was always (along with Panasonic) making the best TVs for decades. Now its Panasonic, Pioneer and Samsung, even LG who are the best

Great deal but they don't ship were i live. Another problem I am looking for a small bedroom size not a living-room size. I'll be happy with a 32 to 37 inches one.
