please read this and help me! i've helped a lot of people on here with start up errors but now i can't get my own.

i've gone thru so many computer problems from this build, took 6 months to get it working because i needed tro replace so many parts only a week after buying them, then a failing harddrive, probably reformated 50 times about. anyways it's been fine for a year, not a single problem. it was fine last night but this morning when turning it on i got that bootup screen that makes me select "start normally" or "last known configuration" and neither work. so i thought maybe it was due to installing vista transformation a week ago, even tho i haven't had any problems yet.

so i opened up my case and madesure everything was plugged in right, and flipped the cmos, cleaned out some dust, everything was fine. so i turn back on the power supply, and my computer won't even turn on now! but everything is lit up from the power supply, and my motherboard says "00" on the little lcd screen, which means everything is fine. so i don't think it is the power supply. i have a feeling it is the case, since it's a horrible case that got horrible reviews for breaking, so maybe all it is is the power button not working now. this case has lights that turn off every now and then and the psu that came with it is what blew out all my parts a year ago giving me all the problems. could this be the problem?

once i figure out how to start it up, i'll have to deal with the fact its doesn't start up. probably software or hardware problem. i can do memtest and try knoppix to see what parts are borken. and reformat to see if its just related to vista transformation. what do you guys think? think the start up thing is related or unrelated to boot up screen error? what do you think is causing it to not even turn on now?

please help! and thanks for reading this!

Hopefully you made some system restore points, if you did just restore it. Should be like F11 or something like that during Bootup. I would try that before you reformat, also ive heard that its never a good idea to use a PSU that comes with a case. I would change the PSU even if it isnt the problem.
