Hello

I am a gamer and a youtube commentator (ModernWorld2x) I am planning on buying a new pair of headsets or headphones. At the moment my main idea is to buy some good quality headphones (no mic) and then an on desk microphone (Blue Yeti) My budget is about 180 euros.

I have picked out a few headphones, tell me which one is the best and if none of them are good, give me your oppinion.

1. Razer Electra - This one looks good (the black version) but I dont know where to buy it from, amazon dosen't have the black version and neither does any local store. I could order it from razerzone.com but the shipping will chost about 20 euros. Also I'd want to know that is it true that these headphones are one of those can style ones (when you touch the cord or anything on the headset they make a scratchy sound)? And also how is the audio quality?

2. SteelSeries Siberia V2 - They look good, I've hurd they are really comftable but I also hurd that their audio is really sharp, so after a few hours you just want to rip your ears off. Is that true? And are there any other flaws with it?

3. SteelSeries 7H - I hurd these ones are really good but I also hurd that their audio quality ain't the best also I hurd that the places where you can disassemble it, start to get loose, is that true? Are there any other things I should know about?

4. I also thougth about the Audio Technica ATH M50 - I've hurd good things about these headphones. If you know any flaws with these, let me know. PS. these are a bit expencive so these are the last ones I think I would buy from this list XD

5. Didn't see any good headphones above? Tell me below what would you recommend.

So which one of these is the best? And I would also wanna know what are the flaws with the ones that I listed above. And if you know something better in the price range of about 110 euros. Ohh and don't forget comfort + awsome audio quality :P

If you read the whole topic then you are friggin epic! Thank you for your time!

I just bought a pair of Sennhiesers HD555...

they are only 2.0 stereo but they do an excellent job of emulated spatial surround sound, I was very suprised when i could clearly tell where footsteps were coming from, from a 2.0...

the trick here is you need a surround sound receiver... but if so, all you need to do is plug into the receiver jack and play! no set up required... but if you need a smaller plug like say for an iPod or 3DS , you will need a bulky adapter

I was looking at these vs the tritton ax pros... and Im glad I choose the Sens... nice, comfortable and effective headphones for both gaming and movie surround sound...

sorry if this is an amatures recommendation, but its what I use and enjoy

Making more than one thread makes it much harder to answer your question. Keep the question to this one, Thanks!

Sennheiser will be better sound quality, more accurate and neutral.

Did you read through the sticky? The microphone you selected is excellent, but the headphones you've listed are, well, substandard for the the most part. 100 Euros is about $133 USD, so that puts you in the market for the following, depending on your local availability: AKG Acoustics K-240 (~$90) Audio Technica ATH-AD700 (~$100) (super comfy, bass light, excellent sound stage) Audio-Technica ATH-M50 (~$160) (best value, in my opinion) Shure SRH750DJ (~$150) Grado SR 80i (~$100) Good luck, Boz
