I was in 3Dmark Vantage when my pc crashed and got bsod but it didn't restart it just was stuck on bsod so I manually restarted and now my pc won't load windows it gets past bios screen but when i select any option from windows recovery it either restarts or gets bsod and restarts

I think my graphics card must be blown, my system was slightly overclocked but was stable and the only thing I changed before i ran 3Dmark was ATI overtune which automatically overclocked the card to 840/1190

Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong and if I would be able to get warranty, also if my graphics card is blown could it have taken out any other components aswell

SPECS IN SIG PLEASE HELP

Sorry to hear the bad news.

The bios screen would not load at all if the card was completely screwed.

Is the overclock on the card loaded automatically when you load windows?

If it is this may be the problem, I would try to disable it. Sorry I don't know how to do this

If this is not possbile, perhaphs reinstall windows before you splash out on a new GPU

That's not entirely true. A video card could still boot into windows and still be crap, an example of this would be lines appearing across the screen and such along those lines. But I agree, reloading the OS would be the first step.

Does anyone have any tips on how to diagnose this problem I'd hate to have to take it in to a computer technician
