hello

i am really new to this graphic card thing

so i need advise

this is my current pc configration

intel dg33fb board

core 2 duo e4600

1gb ram

now i have a budget of rs 5000 or $102 and i need to buy a graphic card

i think xfx 8600 gt 256 ddr3 will fit in my budget..

now my questions are

  •  is there any other good card then xfx 8600 gt in my budget ?
  • and if 8600 gt it is then there are some confusions.....
    • should i buy 8600gtx 256 ddr3 (with a X)?
    • should i buy 8600gtx s 256 ddr3( with a X and a S)?
    • or should i buy 8600 gt 256 ddr3 (without any x or s)?
    • is there any price difference in above models?

please i am really confuced and need answers........

i am willing to play the new prince of persia game so will i be able to play it with the above configuration????

thanks in advance

hello forget about 7600GT Overclocked (that what is 8600GT performances)
if you want a video card well wait x-mas they should be a huge price drop into some weak card
you can go 4670 else or 4830 / 8800GT it really near 100$ those card a card under 100$ from newegg.com is hardly something good remember that and once you done prince of persia ? what bout the newest game that will go out ? in 2009 ? don't you want something at least wise ;)

or are you from a country that isn't USA/ Canada / UK / Australia / New Zeland which are so far my only knowledge in hardware picking from website for low price; then some other place further then that i must dig my head to find weither is right or not
for id say a video card don't aim anything below 4670 for minimal low budget thing
if want something good i saw 8800GT under 100$ several time in sales or 4830
