Hey guys, i have some leftover parts from my old computer and i was just wondering if you guys can help me pick a PSU and a GPU out that will let me run LoL on the highest settings at 60FPS with no dips in FPS. I have a Intel Duo Core CPU running at 2.2ghz with 8 gigz of DDR2 OCZ RAM connected to an old DELL motherboard. I think $150 is more then enough for the PSU and GPU because LoL is the only game I am going to be running on this PC.

Thanks

Mac air? Okay maybe it can, but for sure a pentium 2 computer cannot.

You can probably max LoL on a 6450.

A Corsair 500W Builder Series and a 6750? I think that should do.

I have no idea about prices over there though - here that adds to about £130.

I'd get a 6770 over the 6750 just because the price difference is so minimal at least if you buy from newegg. Corsair CX430 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026 45$ Powercolor HD 6770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131434 107$ This should play LoL on steady 60 FPS no matter your resolution.

If this is a secondary system, do you really need more than 3GB of memory?

I just found out that my dell motherboard will only fit in a dell case so i have to get a new motherboard anyway. Your right tho, i dont need more then 3gigs of ram if its just a secondary system.

Well you can get a microATX board for LGA 775 (you had some C2D Exxxx CPU right?) for around 40$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157173

My old DELL came with windows vista 32bit but then i upgraded to windows 7 64bit and it was still only detecting 3 gigs of RAM (even tho i had 4) so it has to be my motherboard.
