So I just finished of COD and LA Noire. Both games were amazing experience. I am right now in the mood to play something which focuses a lot on the story and not just gunplay action. If its a combination of both together I dont mind. Was thinking about - Alan Wake - Dead Space Can anyone help around here :)

Dead Space is pretty light in terms of the story. The premise is interesting but if you hate listening to audio logs, or reading text messages, then you might not like it. Moreover, the protagonist is a silent one. He doesn't speak at all in this game other than grunting and/or screaming. The game is definitely spooky, and might make you jump a couple of times. I really liked this game. Very, very cool. Too bad the sequel wasn't all that hot :\

Alan Wake, well is definitely more open in terms of story. But the enemies aren't well, you know, scary. AW is a bit longer than Dead Space.

I'd go with Dead Space for the time being. Trust me, when you are being chased and/or being knocked around by the necromorphs, you won't care much for the story. The only thing you'll care about is surviving. The minimalistic story telling might not be for all but the story in Dead Space is definitely one worth experiencing.

Oh, and Plasma Cutter my friend. This is the only weapon you need. Enjoy :)

Alan wake is pretty good for the story......always keeps you gripped.

Kinda reminds me of a dean koontz book.

Dead Space is decent. The story is, as others have mentioned, 'light', but not bad. I Played both Dead Space 1,2 and Extraction on my PS3 with a friend and we enjoyed all 3 games. DS2, while being more an action game than a horror game (compared to DS1) is still a good game.
