Only played Metro between the two. Fun game. Albeit short. People say the gunplay sucks, I thought it was decent, and there are some cool guns there. Great atmosphere. Quite the looker if you got the hardware. Overall I'd def. recommend it.

I would just save your money. Neither of those are that good.

I've heard good things about Singularity and I thoroughly enjoyed Metro 2033. You have to appreciate the atmosphere though, if you just want to run n' gun then it isn't for you. If you liked the STALKER atmosphere you'll appreciate Metro 2033.

Not like providing any reasons for your opinions is necessary. Let's listen to this guy.

Keep in mind that Metro 2033 is very hardware intensive, if your computer isn't good it's just not going to run.

Now I haven't bought either of them, I've tried both of them at a friends house though, in his opinion they're too short to be worth their current price.

This just reminded me. If you plan to get Metro 2033, you can tweak the performance using this.

It's a launcher than was recommended in a magazine for adjusting settings more easily, rather than jumping into .ini and .txt files. Apparently Metro 2033 draws two images at the same time for doing 3D. The problem is it supposedly still draws them even if you aren't playing in 3D. Forcing V-sync on is supposed to stop the 3D problem.

Haven't got round to trying it out myself, and I don't know if they have addressed it already in a patch.

Definitely Metro 2033. As others said it requires quite a gaming rig so you shoud check your specs before buying it. Although Metro 2033 is pretty great, story is ok, atmosphere is excellent and action is top notch. There are minor problems with enemy AI, but you shoud be good. On the other hand Singularity is fun, but it borrows most of its elements from other shooters (HL2,FEAR,BioShock), so i disliked it but then again this is my opinion.

Buy a multiplayer online required game, try both of these out at friends houses instead.
