Hello everyone. I am looking for a good laptop between $300-$500ish.(My max amount to spend is: $662.54) I plan to use it mainly to surf the web, type papers, and play a ton roms. I prefer it to have a pretty decent battery life as I will be using it in class and what not when the boredom hits. I don't need it to be a Gaming PC as I already have one of those XD

So basically what I want is:

*Decent battery life 2-5 hours

*At least 4 Gb of Ram

*Good enough to play some roms

*Operating system doesn't matter to me

*Hard Drive around 250Gb and up

*Built in Wi-Fi to connect to the campus internet

That's all I can really think of right now so if you know any good deals please do tell XD. Thank you to anyone who responds.

Not sure on the screen size ur looking for, but this one is $650, 13.3" with 12hr battery life. It should be good for your needs too, http://www.amazon.com/UL30A-X5-Light-13-3-Inch-Laptop-Battery/dp/B002P3KMVC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&qid=1269793063&sr=1-3

Edit: Cheaper $589 15.6" Asus, doesnt say exact battery life, but with same specs(minus the 320gb hdd vs 500gb) as above, should be about the same, little less. Oh and if you do decide J&R, dont forget to use Bing Cashback, this will save u an addition 5%.

This Acer also looks good, 15.6", core i3 2.13ghz, 4gigs, 320gb hdd, and about 4hrs battery life. $600 + bing which i think is about 10-15% as of now.
