Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - $199.99

PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply -$99.99 free shipping

-Two PCI-e 6+2 connectors should be enough for 4850 CF. 54A should be enough for even the i7 and DDR3 ram.

Case: Really depends on what you want.

"Looks cool": Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $109.99

"Don't give a damn": Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $49.95

The mobo is ATX, the case is ATX, so yes it should. If it doesn't, you have a defective case (lol).

Besides the fact that they each cater to a different CPU type and socket type? Dunno.

I don't know about the motherboard being future-proof, but the Core i7 definitely would be.
