Hi I am looking to upgrade my system. I believe my CPU isn't letting me realize the true potential of my system

Current Specs:

A8N32 SLI DELUXE MOTHERBOARD

AMD 4800+ 2.4 Ghz Dual core processor

SLI'd EVGASuperclocked8800 GT's

2 gig of ddr corsair memory

Sata hardrive

Creative X-fi Souncard

I am thinking about, cashing in a savings bond and going for this bundle http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3403908

Along with 2 gig of cheap but good ram off newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211066

Now after changing out the board, cpu, and ram, I will have to reactivate windows right. I did when I upgraded my video card. What else do I need to know about the installation. I will unistall all my graphics and cpu drivers. Am I missing something? Is this a good future proof setup (as far as mobo, cpu and ram). Are we on the verge of seeing some new cheap but better processors coming soon? Also is intel on the verge of a new socket?

Also if you see a better upgrade for my system, please advise.

Thank you,

Bump, I am also taking suggestions on what cooler to use, seeing as the processor doesn't come with one. Keep in mind I want to OC it to around 3.0 or 3.2

and it would be a bonus if it was under 50 dollars

Great bundle. This is a good cooling fan for your CPU http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=4204279&JRSource=googlebase.datafeed.CM+RRCCHLB12

Those are good cards for now. I only have one and it looks to be holding me up fine. I will probably add another one when the newer cards from Nvidia come out. I wouldnt worry about it though until something new comes out that is ultimately better. Looking into the future I dont see it for a while.

i wouldn't waste any money on sli'd 8800gt because

1. the performance increase is not worth your money its VERY hit or miss your looking at 30%-%60 increase which isn't really worth the extra money

2. 1x 8800gt is plenty it can play pretty much any game on high and max every game but a handfull at a decent resolution theres no need to get 2x

3. and lastly the problem is its kinda pointless to waste money on something that could be outdatted so fast those $600 might be good now but to tell truth in about a year you will probaly be able to get a card for around $250 that will give you better performance than both
