i wanted to use my (regular) x box 360 wireless controller for my pc,for games or to use as a mouse ,what i did was plug it in my pc usb with the play and charge kit and turned it into a wired regular controller , i think , i read that theres a way of turning the regular control as a windows control without having to buy the windows one it cost alot more, i dont know how to do it and what drivers to use please some one help me and to make the problem worst i downloaded a driver from the microsoft site and it didnt work and now i cant unistall it from my controller i unistall it and restart the computer and its still there.some one please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eh? I thought that play & charge kit doesn't transmit any data. I think you're still going to need that 2.4 Ghz receiver Microsoft sells for these peripherals.
Batteries are not the only power source - the USB chord can also provide power. What I'm not sure about is whether the play & charge kit also transmit data through the same USB chord, hence my suggestion that you might need the 2.4 GHz wireless receiver.
