Help! My laptop won't start!

Hey guys I desperatley need some help...

My laptop starts up but windows won't boot and I don't have a back up disk!

It tells me that I need the file boot/bcd...

and the error code is 0xc000000F

any help would be much appreciated...

You don't have any Restore or Operating System discs for your laptop? You're only hope then is that the manufacturer can send replacements to you.

By tapping F8 repeatedly as your system boots, you can attempt to get into Safe Mode and try a System Restore. If you can't do that, you're kinda SOL until you can get a restore disc or Operating System disc.

Sounds like either bad RAM or bad sectors on your HDD....to check for bad sectors and fix them boot from a XP cd and run CHKDSK /R in the recovery console.
