Okay I want to play Empire Total War when it comes out and being young I have never had to upgrade a system before so I need some help.

I need a new processor only 512mb right now and I need a 1gb so where can i get and affordable 1gb processor

what do you mean by " 1gb processor ", are you talking about the graphic card? Cause there's no "1gb CPU" or "512 mb CPU". And also, you must tell us your budget before we can help.

Well I need y1gb of ram and I just need a cheaper one

my budget doesn't relly matter

Download and run this program and tell us what it says about your CPU, ram, and motherboard.

cmdrmonkey
PC wizzard is much more helpfful in this case and is made by the same people http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php . Copy and paste the overview page on to here and i should be able to tell you what you need to upgrade and what would be best to upgrade it with.
