Hi, my name is Sergio.
I'm 14 years old and I'm Portuguese.
I want to become a game commentator, but I need some help.
First of all, can I record with these specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor
CPU: Speed 3.0 GHz
RAM: 8.2 GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
Features:
Pixel Shader version: 5.0
Vertex Shader version: 5.0
Dedicated Video RAM: 1.0 GB

Also, should I do commentary in my main language, portuguese, or english? I can speak english pretty well, but my accent is not so good.
And are Fraps, Audacity and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 good software? My dad uses bought Fraps and Adobe Premiere, 'cause he uses them.
And please don't hate. I wanna to do something I like for a living, so why not start now? If you know Syndicate, you know he used to work at McDonald's, but he's a great commentator. That's pretty much what I wanna do.

Dunno where Your heading with this, but what I grasp is that You want to either stream / record game footage with added comment for money?

Your PC should be enough but what You really need is being cunning, charismatic and have a proper voice to get viewers.

There are milions of people streaming videos and making commentaries and not all of them make a real profit, if any

I used to be a game commentator, although I was commenting real, sports games for a local radio group and it's not an easy job I tell You.

Anyway I wish You best luck.

You must like talking a lot. I think that's the main requirement. Just "talk talk talk" no one really listens to what commentators are saying half the time anyway, it's just background noise to keep the action going . If you have something which you believe is important/interesting or funny to say then you'll probably want to repeat it a few times so viewers wake up from their "mental blockage" of listening to your boring facade.

I can't stand these people. The only people talking in videos on games I listen to are either people talking to each other to coordinate or people that are giving information on a video meant as a guide or analysis.

There are millions of wannabe game commentators on youtube. Only a handful of those people actually make a living from it.

Just see it as a hobby and see where it goes from there. Most important is that you have fun and in the meantime you learn how to edit videos, handle sound, speak English etc. These are all valuable traits no matter if people like what you're doing or not. But keep it real... as some already said: there are millions of people out there doing the same. Have fun and good luck

Being new to the YouTube Gaming community (started my gaming channel with my cousins :D ), the only advice I can give you is this-

Create videos because you want to, and because it is fun. Money should be the second thing on your mind. If you follow these steps, and connect with the right people, I'm sure you will be getting the views you deserve :). Contact me if you are interested in growing your channel :), I have a way to help you out :D

A good mic, a respectable voice and a flaming interest for whatever you're commentating on. If you don't have all three, you're not going to get far.

If you want to become a living joke, you can go that way.
